ASFAT is fully publicly owned and was established on 12th January 2018 within the Ministry of National Defence by Additional Article 12 of Law No. 1325. ASFAT has legal authority to make Government-to-Government (G2G) agreements and plays an active role in resolving export-related issues for companies in the defence industry.
ASFAT improves the facilities and capabilities of military factories and shipyards, making efficient use of their maintenance and repair resources while ensuring the development of their capacities.
Based on the synergy provided by cooperation between the public and private industry, we offer innovative solutions to all friendly and allied countries with a collaborative partner approach covering design, production, training, and maintenance processes.
In collaboration with the General Directorate of Military Factories and the General Directorate of Naval Shipyards, ASFAT merges the expertise of the Turkish Defence Industry with that of the global community. ASFAT exceeds expectations by catering to demanding needs, executing project designs with precision, and delivering high-quality solutions to stakeholders in a timely and cost-effective manner.

ASFAT was established within the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Defence on 12th January 2018 through Additional Article 12 of Law No. 1325. The capital of ASFAT is wholly owned by the public.
